Britt has been a solicitor since 2012. Britt moved to John Dawson & Associates in 2017. She later went into partnership where she was mentored by John Dawson who ran his well-regarded and successful practice in Corrimal for over 40 years. In 2023, John moved into a Consultant role. Britt is now the Principal Solicitor of Britt Smith Legal.
Britt can assist you with Family Law, Care and Protection (DCJ or FACS matters), Conveyancing, Estates, and your Will, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardian documents. Britt has been a lawyer representing children in the Family Court and Children’s Court for many years. Britt is also a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Mediator through Illawarra Family Law Mediation.
Natasha Hodges

Prior to her admission, Natasha worked exclusively as a paralegal in Family Law and Care and Protection matters from 2022, gaining valuable experience in supporting clients through complex matters.
Natasha joined Britt Smith Legal in 2026 and can assist you with your Family Law and Care and Protection (DCJ or FACS) matters as well as your Will, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardian documents.
Debbie
Debbie worked for John Dawson since 1988 and we were very lucky when she agreed to bring her wealth of legal experience to Britt Smith Legal.
She is an integral part of our office and can assist you with all your enquiries. Debbie will keep you informed about your conveyancing and estate matters.
In her spare time, you will find Debbie and her husband with their 7 grandchildren.
Rhiannon
Rhiannon is a multi-talented woman. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts, is a fully qualified hairdresser and also holds a forklift license from her time in despatch at a cosmetics company.
She brings her skills to Britt Smith Legal to keep our office organised and running smoothly. Rhiannon will keep you informed on your conveyancing and family law matters.
